How it Works

Each radon test kit comes with an accurate radon gas detector and simple-to-follow instructions. You will place it in your home for anywhere between 91 days and 1 year. Thereafter, it will conduct an accurate test that will take into account all of the daily fluctuations in radon levels and provide a true average concentration of radon gas.

Once you have deployed the device for the recommended time period (Health Canada recommends at least 3 months), you will need to send the radon detector back to the lab for analysis for no extra fee. We have provided a pre-addressed envelope in the kit so you are ready to go. Results are reported in Canadian units of Bq/m³.

Price includes laboratory analysis fees.

After that, the detector will be analyzed at Radonova’s ISO 17025-compliant and Canadian C-NRPP-accredited laboratory. You will then get your results within one week email. Results will also be available 24/7 online on RadOnline web portal, accessible using login credentials provided with the kit.
